We were honored to be among the first funeral homes in Florida to become members of the Green Burial Council, reflecting our longstanding commitment to responsible practices and thoughtful care for both families and the environment.

Green Burial Cemeteries in Florida

Green burial options in Florida are currently limited but growing. At this time, there are only a few cemeteries in the state that are specifically dedicated to or widely recognized for accommodating natural or green burial practices.

•  Prairie Creek Conservation Cemetery
• Florida’s first conservation cemetery and one of the most well-known green burial site in the country. Located within a protected natural preserve, Prairie Creek is certified at the highest level by the Green Burial Council and focuses on land conservation alongside natural burial practices.

Some cemeteries may allow elements of green burial (such as no embalming or biodegradable containers), while others—like conservation cemeteries—are fully dedicated to sustainable practices.
