Walter Drewry Pride, Sr., 81, died January 22, 2025 in Palm Beach Gardens.

Mr. Pride was born on July 30, 1943 in Petersburg, Virginia to Drewry & Mildred Pride.

Walter was an electrical contractor for 55 years and an electrical inspector for over 10 years, retiring from the St. Lucie County Building Department. In his free time, he loved boating, hunting, alligator hunting, and air boating. 

Survivors include his wife, Betty Pride; children, Walter Pride, Jr. and Michael (Sarah) Pride; grandchildren, Steven, Lola, Cooper, and Penelope; sisters, Judy (Jimmie) McAdams and Diane (Phil) Harris.

Services: Visitation will be held on Monday, February 3, 2025 from 10:00-11:00 AM with a service to follow at 11:00 AM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery.
