Verna Ellen Helms, 98, died February 18, 2009 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mrs. Helms was born in High View, West Virginia and moved to Ft. Pierce in the 30’s.
She was a member of Bible Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law; 4 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Julian Helms, son, Glen A. Morris, grandson, Randy L. Morris and great-grandson, Brandon L. Morris.
Services: Visitation will be held on Monday, February 23, 2009 from 10-11 AM with a service to follow at 11:00 AM at Haisley Funeral Home. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery.
