Thomas Reed Golden, Jr. went home to Jesus on June 30, 2026. He was a beloved husband, father and Pop-Pop. A life-long resident of Fort Pierce, “Reed,” was married to his high school sweetheart, Helen, for 39 wonderful years.
Together they raised five amazing children – Tommy (Joy), Rebecca (Chris), Sarah, Lorie, and Jessica (Zach).
Seven grandchildren – Maxwell, Avery, Colton, Eli, Kohen, Eva, and baby girl Golden – filled his heart with pride and joy.
He is also survived by his two sisters, Brenda Kish of Highland Park, NJ and Susan Golden of Ft. Pierce, FL as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Thomas Reed Golden, Sr. and mother Betty Golden.
He showed his passion for automobiles in his expertise in RV mechanics and avid following of NASCAR. Beyond his life as a RV mechanic, he spread Christmas cheer in Ft. Pierce selling Christmas trees for 44 years. He enjoyed exploring the country in the family RV, gardening, and sunset bike rides. Reed will be missed for his ability to remember everything, fix anything, and the yummy steak dinners he cooked.
