Thomas A. Bieselin

Thomas A. Bieselin, 90, of Ft. Pierce passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2022.

Thomas, was born May 27, 1932 to George and Caroline Bieselin. He married his high school sweetheart Marie on September 9, 1951 and resided in Center Moriches, New York where they raised their children. Thomas served in the US Army during the Korean War. After his honorable discharge, he graduated from Adelphi University and worked for the Long Island Railroad as Assistant Chief Engineer, Planning and Administration, retiring in 1987 with 35 years of service. He was very active in his community serving as a member of the Knights of Columbus, on the school board at St. John’s Evangelist School, served as President of the Lions Club and President of Quail Run.

For years, Thomas and Marie could be found traveling to their second home in Fort Pierce during the winter months, in 2015 they made Meadowood Country Club their permanent home.

Throughout his life, Thomas enjoyed golf, boating, traveling and spending time with family.

Thomas is survived by his wife Marie (DePalo) of 71 years, their sons Jeffery and his wife Sharon, David and his wife Stephanie, daughters Donna and Audrey and her husband Wayne, his 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son Thomas Jr.

Thomas was a strong, kind, loving father very proud of his family. Through his knowledge and guidance, he was the foundation of his family. He will be sorely missed by his family and all who knew him.

Viewing hours will be Sunday, September 18, 2022 between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. Blessing at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will held Monday, September 19, 2022 10:00 a.m. at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, Ft. Pierce. Military honors will follow the service
