Tammy Jane Marsh, 67, left this world peacefully on May 5, 2025, in Port St. Lucie, Florida, surrounded by her loving family. Born on October 4, 1957, in St. Clair, Michigan, Tammy’s life was a testament to the power of love, humor, and family.
Throughout her life, Tammy embodied a caring spirit that attracted all those fortunate enough to know her. Her laughter and compassion were infectious, lighting up the room and warming the hearts of friends and strangers alike. As a dedicated volunteer at the Humane Society in Port Huron, Michigan, she poured her heart into helping animals in need, showcasing her deep-rooted love for all creatures great and small.
Tammy found joy in riding her bike, playing BINGO, and the serenity of crafting. Whether it was cross-stitching a beautiful gift for a loved one or losing herself in a painting, her creativity knew no bounds. Each brushstroke, each crafted piece, embodied the love and care she infused into all aspects of her life.
She was a dedicated member at Sunlight Community Church.
Tammy's absence will be profoundly felt by her family and friends. She is survived by her beloved dog, Mama, who was not just a pet but a cherished companion. Her mother, Marilyn Wright, and her siblings—Kim (Wesley) Frizzle, Chris Marsh, and Carie (Craig) Frizzle—will carry her memory through their hearts, as will her foster parents, Gerry (Lois) Moots and her foster Brother, Greg Moots. In addition to her immediate family, Tammy leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews who will always remember her warmth and generosity.
She was predeceased by her father, Melvin Marsh, her brothers, Mark Marsh and Eric Moots, and her aunt, Carole Burleigh.
Tammy's legacy is one of unwavering love, ardent compassion, and her family requests memorial contributions be made in her honor to Blue Water Area Humane Society 6266 Lapeer Rd, North Street, MI 48049; https://bluewaterareahs.animalservices.website/shelterpronet/home.spn.
May her memory continue to inspire those who loved her to embrace each day with kindness, humor, and a dedication to making the world a better place, just as she did.
