Sharon Smedberg

Sharon Smedberg, 68, passed away on September 15, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on February 25, 1958, in Hartford, Connecticut, Sharon was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family was an incredibly important part of her life, and the love she shared with them will continue to live on through the many memories they made together.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Georgianna Andrew.

Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Mark Smedberg; her daughter, Amy Trumble, and her husband, Jeremy; her son, Mark Smedberg Jr., and his wife, Stephanie; her grandchildren, Haley and her partner, Chris, Willie and his wife, Hannah, and Sophia; seven step-grandchildren; and her great-grandchildren, Harper and Hazel.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. While her absence leaves an immeasurable space in the lives of those who loved her, her family will carry her memory, her love, and the moments they shared with them always.

In keeping with Sharon’s and her family’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. Her family will remember and celebrate her life privately and hold close the many memories that made her so loved.
