Sara Ann Lattimore, lovingly known as Sara Ann, peacefully transitioned on February 4, 2026. She was born on December 21, 1962, at Fort Pierce Memorial Hospital in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Sara Ann was united in marriage to Michael Kenneth Wade on January 3, 1994. Though their marriage later ended, her greatest dedication remained her family, whom she loved deeply and supported wholeheartedly.

She attended Means Court Elementary School in Fort Pierce and later Jefferson Davis Middle School and Stanton High School in Jacksonville, Florida. Sara Ann was also a proud member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Sara Ann devoted her life to serving and helping others through several meaningful careers. Sara Ann was well known for her cooking, especially her macaroni & cheese, which became a cherished family tradition. She also loved preparing peach cobbler and cookies for her loved ones. Those closest to her will fondly remember her strong dislike of spiders, which often brought laughter and smiles.

Sara Ann’s greatest joy was her family. She leaves behind her children, LaShanda Lattimore, Jermaine Lattimore. Her grandchildren, Jesha Lattimore, Jeremy Lattimore and Ellijah Lattimore ; and her great-grandchildren, Inneliah Lattimore-Jones, Keraun Lattimore-Jones, and Illianna Lattimore-Jones.

She is also survived by her siblings and extended family, including Willie Frank Lattimore Jr., Pearline McKinney, Donna Davis, Tina Scott, Kyra Lattimore, Keith Kirkland, Kevin Kirkland, Albert Anderson Jr, Lorenzo Lattimore, Rosetta Lattimore, Daisy Jackson, and Doris Chambliss, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

Through LaShanda, Sara Ann was blessed with three beautiful grandchildren and the gift of expanding her family and experiencing the joy of multiple generations of grandchildren and great grandchildren, which brought her tremendous happiness and fulfillment.

Sara Ann shared a deeply special bond with her son, Jermaine, and took great pride in the man he became. Her love, strength, and guidance helped shape him into a devoted and protective family man. She was his supporter, his comfort, and his foundation.

Sara Ann built her life around her family, creating traditions, sharing meals, and providing unconditional love that will continue to unite the Lattimore family for generations to come.
