Sal Conti

November 23, 1934 — July 13, 2025

Port Saint Lucie

Sal Conti passed away peacefully on July 13, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. He was 90 years old.

Born on November 23, 1934, Sal lived a life full of devotion, to his family, his work, his country, and his community. On September 21, 1958, he married the love of his life, Connie. For 67 years, they shared an unbreakable bond, standing together through life’s highs and lows. Their marriage was a true partnership; built on love, loyalty, and unwavering support.

Sal was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He worked tirelessly to give his family a good life, and his devotion never wavered. Those who knew him remember a man who put others first, who led with heart, and who took pride in the simple joys of family, hard work, and tradition.

Sal proudly served in the United States Army and later found great camaraderie among fellow veterans at the American Legion. Professionally, he managed Louie’s Seafood and Italian Restaurant in the Bronx and went on to co-own Casa Roma with his brother Jerry, a place that brought people together through good food and warm hospitality.

He loved the sunshine, his backyard pool, and a perfectly timed tan. He enjoyed a good round of golf, and he especially loved cooking for his family, always with a full heart and a full table. He had a special way of making everyone feel welcome. Sal loved people, and people loved him right back.

He is survived by his beloved wife Connie; his sons, John Conti and Sal Conti; his brother Jerry Conti and sister Annette Saso; his grandchildren Vanessa, Brittany, Giana, Nick, and Frank Conti; and his five great-grandchildren, Giani, Ace, Dino, Ahna and Giana Conti.

Sal was preceded in death by his parents, Florinda and Vincent Conti; his brothers Nick, Joe, and Vincent Conti; his sister Susie Hildgers; and his grandson, Sal Conti Jr.

While his absence leaves a deep void, the family takes comfort in knowing Sal is now reunited with those he loved and lost. His warmth, laughter, and generosity will be remembered by all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to echo through the generations.

He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
