Rosalie Noelke Arnold passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at the age of 92. Born in Washington, Missouri, on October 30, 1932, she moved with her family to Fort Pierce, Florida, in 1938, where she would spend the rest of her life surrounded by those she loved.
Rosalie was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Blair B. Arnold, in 1993. Together, they shared a life rich in family, community, and lasting legacy.
For an extraordinary 78 years, Rosalie was a dedicated part of her family's business, Sweet’s Jewelers. Though she studied painting under the renowned A.E. “Bean” Backus in her youth, it wasn’t until her 80s that she returned to art, quickly gaining recognition and success as a local painter. Her creativity knew no bounds—she was also a talented pianist, quilter, seamstress, cook, and designer.
To her family, she was simply "Nana"—a source of warmth, wisdom, and unconditional love. Her presence filled every room with grace and kindness, and her devotion to those she held dear was unwavering.
Rosalie is lovingly remembered by her children: Jan Russell (Tim), Jill Arnold (Ezra), Juli Arnold (Ann), and Christopher Arnold (Jill), all of Fort Pierce, Florida. She also leaves behind her treasured grandchildren: Ashley Bertin (Mike), Tim Russell (Jessica), Hayley Nemoga (Erik), and Blair Arnold (Ryan); and her beloved great-grandchildren: Timothy Russell, Connor Russell, Everlee Russell, Reese Nemoga, Abigail McDermid, and Easton Nemoga.
Rosalie’s legacy of love, creativity, and strength lives on in all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
