Robert "Dusty" J. Craig

Robert “Dusty” Craig, 92, of Stuart, FL passed away peacefully August 1, 2022.
Dusty was born February 27, 1930 in Newburgh, NY to Samuel and Jane Craig. Dusty married his beloved Nicoletta on April 27, 1972. Together, Nicoletta and Dusty, raised his three children.
Dusty was a U.S. Army Korean Combat Veteran, who served his country proudly.
Dusty retired from Verizon as an outside Plant Manager at age 55. He enjoyed golf at Monterey Country Club. He was men’s club champ four times, and a Master’s Champ five times. He was also an avid bowler, skier, tennis player, fisherman and excelled at those sports as well. For several years, Dusty was Vice Commodore of Mianus River Boat and Yacht Club in Cos cob, CT.
Dusty’s family, beloved wife of 50 years, Nicoletta; devoted children, Vick J and husband Ian Wint, Diane E and husband, Brian Quinn, and daughter-in-law, Jean Craig will miss him dearly. He also leaves to grieve his passing, grandchildren, Elizabeth (Justin) Hunnicott, Matthew (Sara) Craig, Rajni Wint, Liam Quinn and Tara Quinn. He was preceded by his parents, Jane and Samuel Craig; son, Rober J Craig Jr, and sister, Elaine Kandler.
Family will have a private service at a later date.
