Richard V. Grubb, DDS passed away on June 29, 2026. He was the beloved husband of 56 years to Brigitte Grubb (nee Larisch), devoted father of Marcus Grubb and his wife Kysa (nee Rowe) and his dear grandson Noah Grubb, who brought him immeasurable joy and was a source of pride.

Born on March 27, 1946, Richard was the son of late Paul and Stella Grubb. He is survived by his loving brother Paul and his wife Maria and countless patients whose lives he touched with compassion and professionalism.

Richard proudly served in the Army before pursuing his lifelong passion for dentistry. As a dedicated dentist for 50 years, he cared for his patients with genuine kindness and skill with a supportive staff.

He was a Fellow & Master of the Academy of General Dentistry, an Honored Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, a Board-Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Implantology, a Credentialed Sedation Member of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology as well as Past President of the Maryland State Dental Association and former Clinical Professor at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry.

Richard enjoyed skiing, traveling, tennis, diving, hunting and fishing, cooking, reading and woodworking.

Services will be private. A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
