Ricardo Alberto Ordonez

Ricardo A. Ordonez, 60, of Port St, Lucie, passed away February 16, 2024.

Ricardo was born in New York, NY on August 18, 1963 to Jorge and Elizabeth (Ramirez) Ordonez. Ricardo joined the United States Army in 1980 and served proudly until his discharge in 1983. 

Ricardo was a proud union member for more than 25 years of IBEW - Local 728. He was also a member of other local organizations including, American Legion, Flotilla Club, D.A.V. and TIRA. 

Ricardo’s contribution to his community extended to assisting the elderly with fixing electrical issues at no cost. He was proud to help in whatever we he could. Ricardo’s love of the outdoors included boating, camping, fishing and snorkeling. He also enjoyed spending time at the St. Lucie Shooting Center. 

Ricardo’s family meant everything to him, and he will be deeply missed by his devoted wife, Penny, his four children, Jason, Adam, Ricardo Jr and Amanda Lee and their spouses, Sabrina, Alex, Lindsey and Donald. His memory will live on with his grandchildren, Adam Matthew and Dimitri. He will be remembered lovingly by many other extended family members.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to honor Ricardo’s commitment to community and helping others to St Jude’s Children Hospital, P.A.L and the Police Benevolent Association. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday March 17th , 2024 from 1PM to 5PM at Indian Riverside Park 1707 NE Indian River Drive Jensen Beach, FL 34957.
