Raul J. “Poppy” Colon, 90, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2010 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Raul was born in Guayama, Puerto Rico and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1950.
He was of the Roman Catholic Faith. Poppy enjoyed dancing, fishing, traveling and the outdoors. While traveling to Chile he met his loving wife of 15 years, Isabel.
Survivors include his wife, Isabel Colon; sons, Jose Colon of Houston, TX, Nelson Colon of Ft. Pierce, FL, Ivan Colon of Santa Rose, CA and Benjamin Colon of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughters, Catalina Jaiman of Guayama, Puerto Rico and Marcelina Priddy of Ft. Pierce, FL; 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.
Services: A memorial service will be held at a later date.
