Port St. Lucie

Peter Santiago, 54, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed away on March 3, 2026. He was born on September 9, 1971, in Glen Cove, New York, and was raised in Sea Cliff, New York, where he spent his early years surrounded by family, friends, and the community he cherished.

Peter attended Sea Cliff Elementary School and later North Shore Junior High School and North Shore High School. He built a life grounded in hard work and dedication and was employed with Dom Bella Plumbing, where he was respected for his strong work ethic and skill.

On August 5, 2023, Peter married the love of his life, Rebecca Santiago. Together they built a life centered around family and love.

Peter’s greatest pride and joy were his children, Vincent Santiago, Isabella Santiago, and Viviana Santiago of Port St. Lucie, Florida. He will always be remembered as a devoted and loving father who put his children above all else.

Peter is survived by his wife, Rebecca Santiago; his children, Vincent, Isabella, and Viviana Santiago; his sisters, Patricia Santiago of New York and Sasha Santiago of Hawaii; his nieces, Ashlee Santiago of Virginia and Alexia Santiago of New York; his great-nieces, Haylee, Skye, Violet, and Sophe of Virginia; his great-nephew, Liam of Virginia; and his beloved grandmother, Gloria Vulpis of New York.

He was predeceased by his mother, Linda (Vulpis) Santiago, and his grandfather, Joseph Vulpis.

Peter had a deep passion for street bikes, muscle cars, BMX riding, racing, music, and tinkering with anything mechanical. He had a profound love for dogs and could often be found working on projects, enjoying the thrill of speed, or sharing laughter with those around him.

Those who knew Peter will remember him for his generous heart and vibrant spirit. He was kind, devoted, caring, protective, charming, goofy, loyal, strong, and adventurous. His presence filled a room, and his willingness to help others left a lasting impact on many lives.

Above all, Peter valued family. He will forever be remembered as a loving husband, a loyal friend, and above all, the greatest father. His memory will live on through the many people whose lives he touched and through the family he loved so deeply.
