Paul D. Kemp, 70, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2026. Born on November 4, 1955, Paul lived a life defined by dedication to his family, hard work, and a love for the simple joys that brought people together.

On April 28, 1979, Paul married the love of his life, Janice A. Kemp. Together they shared more than 47 years of marriage, building a life centered on love, family, and cherished memories.

Paul is survived by his devoted wife, Janice A. Kemp of Port St. Lucie, Florida; his daughters, Jamie-Lee Kemp of East Patchogue, New York, and Jessie-Lynn Colvin and her husband, Matt, of Port Jefferson, New York; and his beloved granddaughters, Mian Pirro and Talia Pirro, who brought him immense pride and joy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Victoria Kemp.

Paul attended Port Jefferson High School and dedicated many years of service to the Town of Brookhaven Highway Department, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to his community.

In his free time, Paul enjoyed fishing, flying kites, restoring old cars, and taking relaxing rides in his golf cart. He found happiness in being outdoors, working with his hands, and sharing those moments with family and friends. His passion for classic cars and his appreciation for life's simple pleasures left lasting memories for all who knew him.

Paul will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his generous spirit, his sense of humor, and the countless ways he touched the lives of those around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Though deeply missed, Paul leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and devotion that will endure for generations.
