Patricia Lynn Wilson

Patricia Lynn Wilson, 81, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed away peacefully on April 6 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Ada, Michigan, Patricia was the cherished daughter of Chester and Doris Dykstra. She lived a life defined by love for her family, quiet strength, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life.

Patricia was preceded in death by the father of her children, John Nowack; her second husband, Colin Wilson; her brother, Terry Dykstra; and her beloved grandson, Garret Russakis.

She leaves behind a loving family who will forever carry her memory in their hearts: her brothers Robert (Sue) Dykstra and Phillip (Sue) Dykstra; her sister-in-law Sharon Dykstra; her children Mike (Kathy) Nowack, Julie Russakis, Jackie Lassiter, and Ruth Nowack (William); and her granddaughters Leandra Lassiter and Sarah Breuer.

Patricia dedicated many years of her career to Florida Power & Light Company before retiring. Outside of work, she found her greatest happiness in time spent with her family. Her children fondly remember her love of camping—moments filled with laughter, nature, and togetherness that became treasured lifelong memories.

Patricia will be remembered for her resilience, her warmth, and the love she gave so freely. Her legacy lives on in the family she nurtured and the memories they will continue to share.

She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
