Patricia J. Bean, 84, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2026. Born on November 4, 1941, in Poughkeepsie, New York, Patricia was the daughter of Helen M. Christiana (Gibney) and Clifford J. Christiana.
At the age of 17, Patricia moved to Florida with her family in 1958 and graduated from Lake Worth High School in 1959. During her school years, she was actively involved in the Junior Red Cross, Pep Club, Dance Committee, and the Vagabond Plays group, where she performed intricate vocal arrangements for community gatherings, civic events, and school assemblies.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Clifford Christiana; her beloved husband, Charles W. Bean; her daughter, Kimberly Bean; her son, Allan Bean; and her brothers, Clifford Christiana and Robert Christiana.
She is survived by her children, Brian (Brianna) Bean and Rachel (Michael) Vossen; her daughter-in-law, Janet Bean; her sisters, Marian (Robert) Shiverdecker, Barbara Gibney of California, and Jean Christiana (Chilcott); and her brothers, Dale Christiana and Gary Christiana, both of New York.
Patricia was a proud grandmother to Michael Barry, Jennifer (Thomas) Scipioni, Kyle Wiederecht, Cyndi Bean, Hannah Vossen, Alysa (Simon) Morey, Kaellie Heelan, Kai Vossen, Marion Bean, Emma Vossen, Brandon Bean, Brittany Bean, and Brooke Bean. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren including Gwen Scipioni, Chatham Scipioni, Maddison Morey, Connor Morey, Rosabella Cruz, and Kylee Cruz, and several others whom she loved dearly.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Patricia found great joy in gardening and spending time on the five-acre family farm she shared with her husband, Charles. Together they raised cows, pigs, and chickens, and she especially loved watching her grandchildren ride horses and play in the pastures. Her family was the center of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them and with her many close friends.
Patricia also served as the President of Bean Drywall, Inc., working alongside her husband and children for more than 40 years before retiring in 2020.
