With broken hearts we share that Pamela Joy Egers Watts left this world peacefully on April 21, 2026 with her husband by her side. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edward and Lanette Egers; her husband Walter Raleigh Watts; and her children Lisa Sciscente and Ronnie Watts. We remember Pamela, whose kind heart touched the lives of everyone who knew her.
Pamela was born on October 25, 1949 to Edward and Lanette Egers in Biloxi, MS. She grew up in Fort Pierce, FL with her 10 brothers and sisters. Pamela attended St. Anastasia Catholic school and graduated from John Carroll High School in 1967.
In 1969 Pamela married Walter Raleigh Watts and went on to have 2 children, Lisa and Ronnie. One of Pam’s greatest joys in life was being a mother, grandmother and volunteer. She worked a variety of jobs including a telephone operator at BellSouth, Hospital tech at Okeechobee general, Social Worker for DCF and a Bank teller at Barnett Bank
before becoming a homemaker in 1984. Pam had an amazing giving spirit. She volunteered as a Eucharistic minister for St. Anastasia, Pink lady at Lawnwwood Hospital and was available to help her grandchildren with rides to practices or caring for them when they were sick.
Pam loved crafting, sewing and cooking. Pamela was a member of 4H in High school where she learned how to sew. She became the seamstress of the family. She sewed her bridesmaid dresses, altered and hemmed clothes and made creative Halloween costumes for the grandchildren. Pam inherited a love of photography and gardening from her father. She loved working in her garden and loved taking pictures at large loud family gatherings. Christmas Eve parties often featured Pam’s delicious Cajun Gumbo.
Pamela was predeceased by her parents Edward “Cookie” and Lanette “Poogie” Egers, her brother Patrick Egers, and her son Ronnie Watts. She is survived by her husband Raleigh Watts, daughter Lisa Sciscente(Rick), grandchildren: Zachary Sciscente, Hunter Sciscente, Jake Sciscente, Montana Watts and Houston Bidot.
She is also survived by her siblings: David Egers(Carol), Nancy Juengling, Janice Addison, Moggie(Chip), Eddie Egers(Maureen), Tammy Vargesko, Shirley Monterosso(Ron), Betty Stephens, Maria Lassiter(Lee) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at 10:00 AM at St. Anastasia Catholic Church, Fort Pierce. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery.
