Olene Bracken

Olene Talley Bracken was born on June 18, 1932 in western North Carolina and died on February 17, 2024 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

An active housewife and mother, Olene kept busy caring for her husband of 70 years, Bill Bracken, and their two sons, John Wayne and Bush. She and Bill loved to sing bluegrass, country, and gospel music together.   Olene enjoyed family, cooking, sewing, crocheting, crafts, and reading.

She is survived by her son, John Wayne Bracken of Batson, TX.   She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, son, Bush and her three sisters, Marie, Hilda, and Katherine.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice.  A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
