Michael Ray "Mike" Chambers

Michael Ray "Mike" Chambers, 85, of Fort Pierce, Florida passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. A native Floridian, Mike attended Nova Southeastern University where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. He later graduated from the FBI National Academy in 1975. Mike served his community as Deputy Sheriff in St. Lucie County, FL, for 25 years. He also worked for the State of Florida in the Office of Inspector General, in the Martin County Sheriff's Department, in Security for a company associated with QVC, and as a Commercial Sales Manager at Marquis Industrial Services in flooring. Mike was an only child to George Chambers and Olivette Schrode. Mike is survived my his wife, E. Faye (Johnson) Chambers, his son Michael Alan Chambers, stepdaughters Kimberly Darlene Bailey and Karen Bailey Rago, nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and his best friend and dog, Cookie. The family will hold a private service where his ashes will return to the earth and water near the Roosevelt Bridge in Stuart, FL and the Saint Lucie River, where Mike loved to visit on daily rides with his wife and dog.
