Michael Bell, 75, of Fort Pierce, Florida, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born on October 25, 1950, in Portsmouth, Ohio, Michael lived a life defined by service, hard work, kindness, and devotion to those he loved.
Michael was a proud retired United States Marine Corps veteran who honorably served his country during two tours of duty in Vietnam. His service reflected the courage, dedication, and patriotism that remained with him throughout his life.
Following his military service, Michael became a true jack-of-all-trades. There was very little he could not build, repair, or accomplish with his hands. He was known for his strong work ethic, resourcefulness, and willingness to tackle any challenge. He especially enjoyed woodworking and spent many happy hours creating and building in his workshop.
Above all else, Michael cherished his family and treasured the time he spent with his son, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was a genuinely good man whose kindness and selflessness touched everyone who knew him. Michael would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need and always made sure others were taken care of before himself. He never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His humble nature, generous spirit, and caring heart will be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
He is survived by his son, Joe Bell (Liane); grandchildren, Jacob Siebert (Kate), Jeremiah Nelson (Hailey), Joey Bell (Courtni), Bradley Bell (Rebekah), and Brielle Bell; great-grandchildren, Livi Siebert, Carter Joe Bell, Reagan Bell, Kennedy Bell, and Reid Bell; his lifelong friend and caregiver, Emily Reisser; and his niece, Chu Alonzo (Max).
Michael's legacy of service, craftsmanship, generosity, and unconditional love for his family will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind. The example he set through his kindness, humility, and selfless devotion to others will never be forgotten. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
