Mary Veronica Berdy

Mary Veronica Berdy, a 40+ year resident of Middleton, NY, passed away July 6, 2022 under hospice care at her home in Fort Pierce, FL after battling dementia. She was 85.
The daughter of the late John and Mary Snack, Mary was born in Suffern, NY. Mary lived and worked in Mahwah, NJ until she married her love, William Berdy in June 1968.
Mary worked for Marshall and Sterling Insurance and volunteered her time at Tiny Hands in Need of Kindness until her retirement.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Alane M. Berdy (Steve) of Sebastian, FL; one son, William J. Berdy of Lake Worth, FL and one sister, Rita Lariviere of Connecticut.
A family statement reads: "Mary was the perfect mother, wife, sister, and friend. We have been blessed to have had her in our lives and will forever miss her smile and kindness."
A graveside service will be held on October 20, 2022 at 11am at the Orange County Veterans Cemetery, Goshen, NY.
