Martin E. Schulz, Jr.

Martin E. Schulz Jr., age 78, passed away peacefully on January 20,2026. Born on November 25, 1947, Marty was a man who embraced the freedom of the outdoors and the warmth of a large, spirited family.

Marty was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 34 years, Katherine Schulz; his brothers, Steve and Les; and his sister, Jacqueline.

He is survived by his sister Bonnie Clark and a legacy of family, including his children, Linda Plocher (Michael), Jacqueline O'Keefe (Michael), Bonadel Woodburn (the late Frank Woodburn), George Russell (Tina), Kelly Gonzalez, Jessica Pepper, Michele Duff (Stephen), and Mary Schulz. He was the proud grandfather of 24 and great-grandfather of 16, and leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews.

A true enthusiast of the natural world, Marty loved to travel and explore, but his greatest passion was found on the back of his Harley-Davidson. Whether on a long cross-country trip or a local ride, the open road was where he felt most at home. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. A private celebration of life will be held this February in his home state of Pennsylvania.
