She had a creative spirit and enjoyed painting watercolors, particularly still-life and landscape scenes. She also loved playing bingo, where she was known to be a frequent winner, as well as enjoying card games and spending time with family. She had an incredible memory.

Marguerite is survived by her daughter, Monica, and her husband, Peter, of Port St. Lucie, Florida; her son, Brian Brewer, and his wife, Dena Bryan, of Black Point, Nova Scotia; five grandchildren, Andrea, Charlotte, Alexis, Adam, and Colin; and two great-grandchildren, Laith and Leo.
