Margaret Hover Runnion

Margaret Hover Runnion passed away peacefully on December 19, 2023 at the Treasure Coast Hospice House in Fort Pierce, Florida.  She was born on January 9, 1948 in Charleston, West Virginia to Zat & Zada Ellis.

She was strong in her faith and her family called her St. Margaret.  Margaret worked much of her career for St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church as the Church Administrator which suited her servant heart.  Her life was an example of faith and grace.  Margaret will be truly missed by her family.

She is the loving mother and grandmother to daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Daniel Stubbs of Fort Pierce, FL; grandchildren, J.D. and Drew Stubbs of Fort Peirce, FL. 

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Hover and parents, Zat & Zada Ellis.

One of her favorite Psalms was 46:10-

He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

A graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens on December 26, 2023 at 1:30 PM, located at 6026 US-1, Fort Pierce, FL 34946.
