Louella Jean Paul passed away October 10, 2022 in Lady Lake, Florida at the grand age of 96.

Mrs. Paul was born in Zanesville, Muskingum County, Ohio, April 8, 1926. She was the daughter of Robert Schneider Weidig and Ruby Mae Young.

Jean graduated from St. Nicholas High School, Zanesville, Ohio, where she met love of her life Herman John Paul, Jr.; they married on August 28, 1946, St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Zanesville.

Her family moved to West Palm Beach in 1959 and in 1970 moved to Ft. Pierce, Florida. She was resident of Lady Lake Senior Living in Lady Lake, Florida since 2018.

Jean was a dedicated, loving wife and mother. After raising her five children was able to renew her artistic talents in painting for many years and travel with her husband to see all fifty states and many national treasures.

She was past parishioner of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Zanesville, Ohio, Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, West Palm Beach, Florida, and St. Anastasia Catholic Church, Ft. Pierce, Florida.
She was predeceased by her husband, Herman John Paul in 2009 and brother, Robert Thomas Weidig in 2011.

Survived by sister, Mary Louise Culhan Miller; children, Christina Marie Delevante, Stephen Alan Paul Sr. (Isabel), Jennifer Jean Eaton (Kenneth), Diana Louise Marcano (Juan), son Douglas Edward Paul; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Anastasia Catholic Church on Friday, October 28, 2022 at 10:00 AM.

Will be laid to rest with her husband at Florida Veterans Cemetery, Lake Worth, Florida on Friday, October 28, 2022 at 1:30 PM at South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth.
