Lois Ann (Pett) Harvey, 90, passed away on January 04, 2024 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Lois Ann was born in the Bronx, New York on November 19, 1933. She loved animals, especially tigers and in her younger years, she studied zoology at Hunter College in New York and worked at the Bronx Zoo. She went on to work as a medical technician at Lawnwood Hospital for many years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Fort Pierce, FL. Lois Ann was also a very talented painter, learning from Beanie Backus.

Lois Ann was preceded in passing by her husband, Chamblis Gene Harvey and her son, Ted Russell Plumstead. She is survived by her son, Clay J. Plumstead of Fort Pierce, FL; her sister, Carol (Jay) Rogoff of Bethpage, NY; several nieces and nephews; her grandchildren (who knew her as “Nana”), Alyssa, Alexis, Aubrey, Amber, Savannah, Tyler, and Seth; her great-grandchildren, Ariana, Anthony, and Carmine; her stepchildren, David Harvey and his children Jeanna, Christina, Julia; and Linda Mccrary and her daughter Elizabeth; and many loving friends.

A visitation will be held at Haisley Funeral Home on January 11, 2024 from 12 PM to 1 PM with a service to follow at 1 PM. A burial will take place after the service at Riverview Memorial Park.
