Linda Sussette Bevendge Pizer, affectionately known as “Grandma Nina,” passed away peacefully on October 3, 2026, at her home in Port St. Lucie, Florida, surrounded by the love and presence of her family. Born on January 6, 1949, in Sharon, Pennsylvania, Linda was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness and generous spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew her.
Linda had a heart of gold and was known for her caring nature and her willingness to make others feel loved and welcomed. Family was at the center of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with those closest to her. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and extended family.
Linda had many interests and hobbies that brought her joy. She enjoyed cake decorating, crafts, Bible study, and collecting angels. She also had a special love for flowers, particularly roses and sunflowers. And, of course, she loved pizza! Her warmth, generosity, and joyful personality will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Linda attended Mercer High School in Mercer, Pennsylvania, and later attended Indian River State College in Fort Pierce, Florida, where she graduated with a degree in Interior Design. She was also a member of Christ Fellowship Church in Port St. Lucie, where her faith was an important part of her life.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Karen, and Karen's partner, Kip; her granddaughters, Katilyn Bresch and Tiffany Boyer (fiancé Kirk Plummer); her great-grandchildren Lilliana, Briella, Delaney, Emmett, Kora, and Kaia all of Port St. Lucie, Florida. She is also survived by her brother, Frank Beveridge of Hubbard, Ohio; sister Sheila Beveridge of Wheatland, Pennsylvania; sister Brenda Beveridge of Bradford, Pennsylvania; as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jason, who passed away in 2001; her mother, Florence Beveridge; her father, Beryl Beveridge; and her brother, Beryl “Duke” Beveridge II.
Linda leaves behind a beautiful legacy of love, faith, kindness, and devotion to her family. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, and all who were fortunate enough to call her family or friend.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice.
May Linda rest peacefully, surrounded forever by the love she so freely gave to others.
