Linda Jean Cote

Linda Jean Cote, age 70, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2026.

Linda is survived by her loving family including her daughter Tammy Saporito and her husband, Daniel Saporito, her granddaughter, Sadie Saporito; her daughter, Dawn Weinkrantz and her husband, Chris Weinkrantz; her sister Jan Vitale; her brother Mike Lopushansky and his wife, Sonya Lopushansky; her nephew, Cory Vitale and his wife Kasia Vitale; and her nieces Kristen Lopushansky, Jennifer Tchalikian, Kelly Alfred, and Taylor March.

She was predeceased by her father and mother Michael and Annie Louise Lopushansky; her sister Christina Wilder; and her nephew Jeffery Wilder.

Born on June 21, 1955, in Columbus, Ohio, Linda cherished spending time with her family and friends. She had a deep love for animals of all kinds. Growing up there was always a pet in the home. Whether cats, dogs, or even turtles, Linda had room in her heart for them all.

Family was most important to Linda, along with her strong faith and dedication to God and the church. She touched countless lives through her years as an educator at Maplewood Elementary, where she impacted both her fellow teachers and the many students she taught.

Linda was a devoted member of Christ Fellowship Church, where she worshiped and served faithfully for many years. She formed lasting friendships and meaningful connections that became a source of love and support throughout her life.

Linda was deeply loved by all who knew her and will forever remain in our hearts.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Christ Fellowship Church, located at 10250 Village Parkway, Port Saint Lucie, FL 34987, on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be served at the church following the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that monetary donations be made to the family or to a charity of your choice.
