Lennard Knowles

Lennard Knowles ‘aka’ Lonnie Knowles, 72, died April 9, 2022 at the VA Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Lonnie was a lifelong resident of Fort Pierce, Florida.

He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and served as an Electrical Repairman. Lonnie was a member of the Elks Lodge #1189 of Fort Pierce, FL and a member and treasurer 40/8 of the American Legion Post #171 of Fort Pierce, FL as well as an active member of the New Hope Lodge #450, PHA, of Okeechobee, FL.

Memories of him shall be with his son, Eric Knowles; daughter, Shalaunda Knowles; stepson, Willie Simmons; stepdaughter, Mary Simmons Robbins; and eldest sister, Marina Ragin; grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lottie Simmons Knowles; parents, Ezekiel & Louise Adderly Knowles, brothers, Edward Knowles, Albert Knowles, Willie Knowles, and Henry Anderson; sisters, Mary L. Anderson, Alma Edgecomb and Ruth Knowles.

Services: Visitation will be held Friday, April 29, 2022 from 5 -7pm at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A service will be held Saturday, April 30, 2022 at 11:00am at Immanuel Full Gospel Baptist Church, 1200 N. 25th Street, Fort Pierce, FL 34947. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Park, Fort Pierce. Repast to be held at the Elks Lodge on 2408 Ave M, Fort Pierce, FL 34950.
