Lawrence David "Larry" Burchard, Jr.

Lawrence David “Larry” Burchard, Jr., 85, passed away on January 27, 2026 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Born on February 26, 1940 in Miami, Florida, Larry was the son of Lawrence and Margaret Burchard, Sr. He made his home in Fort Pierce.

Larry proudly served his country as a Veteran of the United States Army. After his service, he became known for his creativity and skilled hands as a member of the Treasure Coast Wood Turners Guild. He found great satisfaction in working with wood, turning raw pieces into beautiful works of art. In his leisure time, Larry was an avid NASCAR fan.

Larry is survived by his partner, Judith Suit of Fort Pierce, Florida; his sons, Brian Burchard of Cecilia, Kentucky, James Burchard of Port St. Lucie, Florida, and Rusty Burchard of Charlotte, North Carolina; as well as 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
