Larry Alan Green, 67, of Fort Pierce, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born on November 23, 1958, in East St. Louis, Illinois, to Lorraine Baker and Jack Green, Larry moved to Fort Pierce, Florida in 1974, where he built a life rooted in hard work and family.
Larry dedicated 42 years of his life as a skilled carpet installer and business owner, leaving his mark in countless homes throughout the Treasure Coast. He took great pride in his work and was known for his strong work ethic and craftsmanship.
Above all, Larry was a family man. He is survived by his loving children: Mark Kicklighter (Faith), Martha Spotts (Damian), and Jackie Wolfe (Jason). His sons-in-law were like sons to him, and he cherished the bond he shared with each of them. He is also survived by his siblings: sister Sally Davis; brothers Michael (Linda) and Brian Green; along with many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
He was a proud and devoted “Pop Pop” to his grandchildren: Stephanie, Kevin, Brittney, William, Adrianna, and Kyle, and a beloved great-grandfather to Abigail and Liam. His greatest joy came from time spent with his family, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
Larry was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife Marilyn Green, and his son, Larry “Boo” Green. We find comfort in knowing they are reunited.
Larry had a one-of-a-kind sense of humor. He was always ready with a joke, a quirky saying, or a perfectly timed comment that could make anyone laugh—or sometimes cringe. His personality lit up every room, and his words—funny, honest, and uniquely his—will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
In his free time, Larry enjoyed riding his motorcycle and fishing, where he would always claim he caught the most. He loved music and spending time watching his favorite band, Dan and Nancy. Whether it was a quiet day fishing or a lively gathering with family, Larry was happiest when surrounded by the people he loved.
He will be remembered as the world’s best Pop Pop, a devoted husband and father, and a man whose love for his family was unwavering. His strength, humor, and presence will be deeply missed, but forever carried in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
