Katharine Smith, 92, died September 2, 2005, at Fort Pierce, Florida.Katharine was born in Philadelphia, Pa. and has been a resident of Fort Pierce since 1994, coming from Folsom, Pa.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family.Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society (St. Lucie), 3375 20th Street, Suite 100, Vero Beach, Florida, 32960.She is survived by her sons, John Nusbaum of Sinking Springs, Pa., Robert Nusbaum and Lawrence Nusbaum both of Fort Pierce, Fl, stepson, Franklin Smith of Shamokin, Pa; daughters, Fanny Schade and Kathryn Pereira both of Fort Pierce, Fl; 18 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Chester M. Smith, her son, Nicholas Nusbaum, sisters, Caroline McFadden and Agnes Molzen, brothers, John Laber, Lawrence Laber and Gordon Laber and grandchild, Nicholas J. Nusbaum, III.
