Joseph A. Walsh III, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2026, in West Palm Beach, Florida. He was 90 years old.
Joseph was born on August 23, 1936, in Teaneck, New Jersey. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Throughout his life, he carried with him a spirit of adventure and a genuine appreciation for life’s experiences.
Joseph was known for his wonderful sense of humor and his ability to make people laugh.
Joseph had a deep love for traveling and enjoyed discovering new places and cultures. Jamaica held a special place in his heart, and he cherished his time there. His love of reggae music went hand in hand with his appreciation for the island, its people, and its laid-back spirit. He also enjoyed soccer and could often be found following the sport he loved.
Above all, Joseph treasured his family, especially his grandchildren. Sophia, Liam, and Charlotte brought him tremendous joy, and the memories they created together will be cherished forever.
Joseph is survived by his son, Shannon (Rebecca) Walsh of Fort Pierce, Florida; his grandchildren, Sophia, Liam, and Charlotte Walsh, all of Fort Pierce, Florida; and his sister, Pamela Facchini of New Jersey.
He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Dagmar Walsh.
Joseph leaves behind a life filled with service, adventure, music, laughter, family, and countless memories. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
