Johnie Max Craton, 79, passed away on October 25, 2026, in Indiantown, Florida.

Mr. Craton was born on May 31, 1947, to Charles and Jennie Craton in Dallas, Georgia. He moved to Florida in 1957, coming from Ohio.

Johnie was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force and worked for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft prior to his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, making walking sticks, and traveling to Alaska. Above all, Johnie was a devoted family man who cherished the time he spent with his loved ones. He was an excellent father and a wonderful person whose kindness and character made him someone truly special to know. His love for his family was evident in everything he did, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his loving wife, Helen Craton of Indiantown, Florida; daughter, Leigh-Ann Craton of Indiantown, Florida; son, John Craton of Port St. Lucie, Florida; grandson, Jonathan Craton; and great-grandchildren, Jamison, Grayson, and Cheyanne Craton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Jennie Craton; his brother, Doug Craton; and sister, Gale Maine.
