John David "Dâbo" Story, 86, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2025, in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Born on October 8, 1938, in Kenansville, Florida, Dâbo attended Kenansville High School.
John is survived by his sons, Jim D. (Angie) Story of Port St. Lucie, FL and Clifford A. Story of Okeechobee, FL, his brother Ary J. Story (Gayle) of Okeechobee, FL, and his sister Margaret Story Corley, of Dadeville, AL.
He is predeceased by his wife, Nancy C. Story, his daughter Wanda Story, and his son John D. Story, Jr.
A graveside service honoring John will take place at Kenansville Cemetery, located at 100 Lake Marian Rd, Kenansville, FL 34739, on January 31, 2025, beginning at 11:00 AM.
