John Wylie Dobbs, 74, passed away on May 3, 2024, in Fort Pierce, FL.

He was born in Pittsburgh, PA and has been a resident of Florida for over 20 years.

He was always very dedicated to his work and served in various management positions throughout his life. He loved the sun and would spend his free time by the pool or at the beach. John was most affectionately nicknamed the sun god. He especially had a love for all his animals.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Lorraine Dobbs, of Fort Pierce, FL; daughter, Terri France (Greg), of Wilmington, DE; siblings, David Dobbs, Sharon Dowler, Donna Yocum, Pam Dunay and Laurie Baldwin; grandchildren, Zachary Heath, Mason Keene, Bennett France. He was preceded by his sister, Judith Dobbs.
