Mrs. Cashion was born in Port Au Prince, Haiti, where her father was stationed with the U.S. Navy, and moved to Ft. Pierce when she was a child. She was the grand-daughter of Nils C. Jorgensen & Annie Christiansen Jorgensen, they were early Danish Settlers to White City, FL. Her maternal grandfather, John W. Hodge, was one of the first superintendents for the St. Lucie County School System.She was a bookkeeper for Trans State Dredging Company for 16 years, and graduate of Massey Business College in Jacksonville, FL.Survivors include her daughter, Paula A. Mascara of Ft. Pierce, FL; son, John W. Jones (Paulette) of Ft. Pierce, FL; sisters, Dorothy Russ of Edgewater, FL, and Joyce Coman of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Robert William Jones of Fayetteville, NC, Jeffrey Alan Jones of Fayetteville, NC, Michael Scott Mascara of Ft. Pierce, FL, and Brittany Nicole Mascara of Ft. Pierce, FL; great-grandchild, Joseph A. Jones of Fayetteville, NC; she was preceded in death by her sister, Helen Lundak, and her parents, Nils (N.W.) & Beatrice Jorgensen.
