Jessica Marie Stevenson

A Time To Be Born:

Jessica Marie Stevenson, also known as “Boobear”, was born on July 28, 1987 in Fort Pierce, Florida to the late Evon Marie Stevenson Johnson. Her stepfather, Harry C. Johnson, took her in as his own child.

Time To Live:

Jessica was a longtime resident of Fort Pierce, Florida. Jessica received her early education at Riveredge Elementary, Southern Oaks Middle School, and Central High School. Jessica loved listening to music, spending time with her kids, family, and friends, she loved to color, and most of all she loved food (especially her son’s cooking).

Time To Love:

Jessica was blessed with three beautiful children.

Time To Serve:

Jessica accepted Christ at a young age at New Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Toby Philpart. Throughout her life, she enjoyed visiting different churches as she continued to serve the Lord.

The Lord looked down and saw what Jessica was going through and said come home my child. Jessica passed away at HCA Lawnwood Hospital on February 03, 2023. With her death, she was still able to be a blessing to others. Being an organ donor, she was able to save the lives of six mothers.

Time To Mourn:

The precious memories shall forever linger in the hearts of her family. She is survived by her son, Joshua Jeremiah Mekal Stevenson; daughters, Darriona Angel Marie Stevenson and K’mony Tatiana Stevenson; brother, Osborne Walker Stevenson(Rose); step-brother, Harry Charles Johnson II(Vicky); sister, Deyon Marie Stevenson Wilson(Rick); step-sister, Rose Johnson; uncles, Isacc Stevenson and Ira Stevenson(Barbara); aunts, Seretta Foreman, Faith Deshields, and Faith Curtis; nieces, Rickkyuna Wilson and Quisiera Wilson; nephew, Jayceon T. Stevenson; and a host of family and friends who will miss her dearly.

Jessica is preceded in death by her mother, Evon Marie Stevenson Johnson; grandmother, Nettie Marie Smith; grandfather, Issac Z. Beckett; step-grandfather, James Thomas Smith; uncle, Brian L. Stevenson; and cousin, Latronida Mclean.
