Jerry Arthur Vanscoy
Jerry Arthur Vanscoy, age 76, died on February 20, 2017. He was born in Wilmington, OH and moved to Fort Pierce in 1993, coming from West Palm Beach.
He was a retail manager for his entire life; working at both Zayre and Montgomery Ward as store manager. After leaving there, he managed Cash America. Then, he became an entrepreneur; opening Best Value Jewelry & Pawn, which was his passion in life. He loved football and he was an avid fan of the Miami Dolphins.
He is survived by his son, Colby Vanscoy of Jacksonville, FL; companion/caregiver, Sally Green of Fort Pierce, FL; brother, Mickey Vanscoy of Wellington, FL; sister, Patty Winslow of Lake Mary, FL; grandchildren, Jennifer Vanscoy and Kevin Vanscoy, and his great-grandchild, Erica Lynn Amos. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Larry and Pat Vanscoy, and his sister, Sandy Ryman.

There will be a Memorial Service on Monday, March 6, 2017 at 1:00 PM, at the Haisley Chapel, located at 3015 Okeechobee Road, Fort Pierce, FL. A reception will immediately follow.
