Jean Ann Alley

September 14, 1942 — July 21, 2025

PORT SAINT LUCIE

Jean Ann Alley was born on September 14, 1942 in Dallas, Texas to Leland and Audrey Byers. Her father was in the Navy and she often spoke of enjoying her life growing up as a “Navy Brat”, never losing her sense of deep patriotism instilled in her. Jean is survived by two of her daughters, Angela and Jennifer, her 3 grandchildren, Erica, Sean, and Craig, and her great-grandchildren. She is reuniting with her late husband, Eric Alley (deceased in 2020) and her oldest daughter, Tina (deceased in 2002). Jean was married to Eric for 58 years prior to his passing and their love for each other was inspiring. In addition to being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Jean enjoyed working as an Administrative Assistant and later a Billing Specialist in a medical office. Jean was active in her church, Westside Church, and enjoyed singing in the choir and teaching a Women’s Bible Study. She had a vibrant social life and enjoyed many hobbies throughout her life, including dancing, reading, bicycling, traveling, and soaking up the sun. Jean made friends easily and had a special way of making people feel special and worthy of her time. She had the ability to light up a room with her warmth and positivity. Her family is grateful for her church family at Westside who have been a constant support to her, as well as for the amazing and loving staff at Watercrest Assisted Living, who went above and beyond to make her feel at home. Jean was loved immensely, will be greatly missed, and will always be remembered.
