James Marciano Martone, Jr., 65, of Fort Pierce, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2025.

Born on July 20, 1959, at RAF Mildenhall in England, James was the beloved son of the late James and Myrtle Martone, Sr. He grew up in England and graduated from Lakenheath High School, where he was a standout athlete. He was especially proud to have held the school’s fastest mile record—a title that remains unbroken to this day.

James devoted 26 years of service to Sikorsky. Outside of work, James had a deep love for sports and art, but nothing brought him more joy than spending quality time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his three sons, James Martone III of Florida, Nicholas Martone of Connecticut, and Maxwell Martone of Florida; and his sister, Heather Fichera of Arizona. James was preceded in death by his parents, James and Myrtle Martone, Sr.
