Hugh “Bid” Farrington, 70, passed away on Monday, August 6, 2001.
Mr. Farrington was born in Sebring, Florida. He was a 39 year resident of Port St. Lucie coming from Miami.
He worked for General Development Utilities for 22 years and retired from Vaughn Services. Mr. Farrington served in the Marine Corps and was in the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Farrington of Port St. Lucie, FL; two daughters, Deborah L. Farrington and Joyce E. Farrington both of Port St. Lucie; granddaughter, Candice L. Gray; grandson-in-law, Dennis Gray of Port St. Lucie, FL; grandson, Cody Farrington of Port St. Lucie, FL; three brothers-in-law, Wayne J. Strong, Christopher E. Strong both of Wilmington, DE and William F. Strong of North Carolina; sister-in-law, Dolores Wildes of Fort Pierce, FL and several nieces and nephews and great nieces. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred & Addie Farrington, two brothers, Robert and Sam Farrington and son, William H. Farrington.
Friends may call Tuesday, August 14, 2001 from 4-6 PM with a service to follow at 6:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home.
