Harry D. (Buddy) Borland

November 24, 1931 — June 28, 2021

Harry D. (Buddy) Borland was a Fort Pierce native. His dad Lawrence Borland and his mother Bertha Metzer raised a kind cowboy born in1931.

Harry soon became husband to Mary Nell Doster and raised two lovely daughters, Linda D. Wix and Judy E. Borland

He and Mary Nell were then blessed with grandchildren Ashley Wix and Andrew Wix and great-grandchild Miles Wix.

Buddy was a cowboy at heart but his love of Mary Nell brought him in from the cattle range on December 19th of 1951 and he soon became a machinist for Piper Aircraft.

There he got his pilot's license as he helped build aircraft. He also had a love for model aircraft and model boats.

He was a tinkerer. He loved to fix things and figure out how to make them better.

Buddy loved to joke and smile and make others smile too.
He had a warm and was extremely generous heart.
