Mr. Sams was a lifelong resident of Fort Pierce, Florida.
He enjoyed working on his truck, riding his Gold Wing Motorcycle, cooking, and fishing.
Survivors include his sisters, Peggy Sams Brunson and Carnella Sams and a very supportive brother-in-law, Chester Dickson. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and co-workers. He is preceded in death by his mother, Hattie Mae Sams, father, Able Sams, brother, Ben Sams, and sisters, Willie Mae Boswell, Ida Mae Spencer, and Gladys Sams Dickson.
