Gerilynn A. Gallagher

Gerilynn Gallagher, 61, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2026, in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, Gerilynn later made Port St. Lucie, Florida her home. She was a proud graduate of St. Vincent’s Hospital School of Nursing and dedicated much of her life to caring for others with compassion and kindness.

Gerilynn’s greatest joy was her family. She treasured every moment spent with her son and grandchildren, who lovingly knew her as “Mom” and “GiGi.” She also enjoyed doing crafts and creating special memories with those she loved most. Her warm heart, caring spirit, and devotion to family will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her son, James (daughter-in-law, Jennifer) Gallagher of Port St. Lucie, Florida; grandchildren, Dominick, Victoria, and Hailey, all of Port St. Lucie, Florida; sister, Karen McNicholas of New Jersey; nephews, Sean and Dylan; and niece, Hailey, all of New Jersey.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Anne McNicholas.

Services:  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 from 5:00 pm -7:00 pm at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.  A Mass in remembrance of Gerilynn will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at 10:00 am at St. Anastasia Catholic Church.
