George J. Larrabee

George J. Larrabee, 93, passed away on February 26, 2023 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Mr. Larrabee was born in Watertown, New York and moved to Fort Pierce in 1986.

Prior to retirement, he worked for the New York Bell Telephone Company for 31 years. He was a Korean War Veteran serving in the U.S. Army. George was a life member of the Fort Pierce Elks Lodge, Fort Pierce Moose Lodge, American Legion Post 40, Fort Pierce AM VETS, Fort Pierce VFW and Fort Pierce DAV. He was a car enthusiast, buying and selling many cars over the years.  He also loved to play pool, golf, and to tinker around. 

Survivors include his daughters, Cheryl Furnace of Massena, NY and Colleen (Vince) Kirby of Mechanicville, NY; sons, Charles Larrabee and Christopher Larrabee both of Massena, NY and Cory (Carrie) Larrabee of Mexico, NY; grandchildren, Greg Snyder, Carrie Furnace, Jessika Furnace, Emma Neidhart, Gage Larrabee, and Chase Larrabee; great-grandchild, Bailey Furnace; special friend, Rose Ostrosky. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cathy Blais.
