Frank Roy Mencik

Frank R. Mencik, 91 of Port St. Lucie, FL passed away peacefully on December 29, 2024.

Mr. Mencik was born in Irvington, NJ on November 20, 1933 To Frank and Olga Mencik. 

After High School, Frank served his country honorably with the United States Army during the Korean War. Upon his discharge from the Army as a Specialist Fifth Class. As a long time resident of Bloomfield, he served his community as the owner and operator of Mencik’s Market and Delicatessen. 

He was a member of St. Bernadette’s Catholic Church. Frank loved to play golf and watch old Westerns.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Elisa, sons, Michael, Robert, and John. He will be dearly missed by his brothers, Mike and Rick. He was preceded in passing by his parents, Frank and Olga and son Frank Jr.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 8th, 2025 from 1PM to 3PM at the Haisley Tribute Center 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd Port St. Lucie, FL 34984. A memorial Mass will be conducted on Monday, January 13, 2025 starting at 10AM at St. Bernadette’s Catholic Church 350 NW California Blvd, Port St. Lucie, FL 34986.
