Port St. Lucie

Marie Françoise Pierre, affectionately known as “Sè Françoise” and “Granma,” peacefully entered eternal rest on May 13, 2026, at the age of 92. She was born on November 8, 1933, and lived a life marked by unwavering faith, resilience, hard work, and deep love for her family and community.

Marie Françoise was a devoted mother of nine children. She was preceded in death by two of her sons, Soinor Mozeau and Ynoland Mozeau, as well as the father of her children. She leaves behind seven beloved children to cherish her memory: Renold Mozeau, Yvon Mozeau, Olmane Mozeau, Lecces Mozeau, Jean Marie Mozo, Michelene Pierre, and Macsène Mozeau.

Although she was never given the opportunity to attend school, Marie Françoise did not allow that circumstance to define her future. Through determination, wisdom, and hard work, she became a successful businesswoman who possessed remarkable skill in money management and commerce. Her resourcefulness and entrepreneurial spirit earned the respect of many who knew her.

Above all else, Marie Françoise's greatest passion was serving God. Her faith was the foundation of her life. She faithfully attended church services, participated in youth gatherings, and spent countless hours in prayer. Though she could not read, her love for worship never wavered. She joyfully sang in the church choir, learning hymns by heart and lifting her voice in praise with unwavering devotion.

Marie Françoise was a woman of extraordinary strength, compassion, and faith. She touched countless lives through her kindness, wisdom, and steadfast trust in God. Her family will forever remember her as a loving mother, grandmother, mentor, and friend whose presence brought comfort, guidance, and joy.

She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Victor Mozeau, Sergeleine Paul, Esdras Paul, Ezechias Paul, Hadassa Shamma Paul, Eliezer Paul, Emmanuel Paul, Victor Mozeau, Jamarielle Mozo, Frantz Mozeau, Theomane Mozeau, Briana Mozeau, and Elianna Mozeau, along with many extended family members, friends, and loved ones who will deeply miss her.

Though her earthly journey has ended, her legacy of faith, perseverance, love, and service will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." — 2 Timothy 4:7

May she rest in eternal peace.
